Please note: Mahopac High School does not report SAT/ACT scores to colleges. Students MUST request their official SAT/ACT scores to be sent to colleges directly through the College Board and/or ACT.

Designed for English Language Learners in measuring English language skills at the college/university level
Families who are eligible for free/reduced lunch can receive fee waivers and discounts on tests (ACT/SAT/PSAT) In order for us to verify eligibility, they need to sign a consent form allowing that information to be released to us.

General Timeline
11th Grade (Fall-October): PSAT (in-school registration for national test date)
11th grade (Spring-May/June): SAT (register online at College Board)
11th grade (Spring-April): ACT (register online at ACT)
12th grade (Fall-September): ACT (register online at ACT)
12th grade (Fall-October): SAT (register online at College Board)

Students with Disabilities
Students with disabilities must obtain the appropriate forms at their annual review or from the special education office located in Student Services to apply for special testing accommodations for the College Board exams.
The College Board and ACT will review the student's information and approve all, some, or none of the testing accommodations as stated on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan.
Please allow approximately 7 weeks for College Board and ACT to process the request for accommodations. If you have additional questions, please contact Dr. Aaron Kleinman, Director of School Counseling, kleinmana@mahopac.org
ACT Testing Accommodation Process (for students with disabilities)
Please note: If your child has an IEP or 504 plan and would like to apply for testing accommodations for the ACT, you must indicate that when registering online for the exam. Dr. Aaron Kleinman, Director of School Counseling is the ACT special testing coordinator and all ACT correspondence should be directed to him.
